What Candle Scents are you interested in?

I just wanted to say that I second the "apple" sentiment. My favorite candle scent has always been some sort of macintosh apple or apple cranberry or things like that. I am not a vanilla fan at all.

Help fill the "Sheila's Happy Thoughts" Box!

I sent you a PM--please send me the info, too. I have a lot of jewelry pieces I've made hanging around, if you think she'd like ANY of them I will be happy to send them. Seriously.

    Pit Bulls?

My opinion is... pit bulls are extremely intelligent animals, and they take quickly to patterns of behavior. They will behave how they believe they are expected to behave, based on example and the behaviors they receive reinforcement for, and they will excel at it. I think dogs can be...

    What's your day job?

Well, I just got a new job as a Accounts Receivable Administator. I start next week. YAY! Oh, and I also like to make jewelry but I haven't made much lately. It wasn't selling so I quit spending money on the supplies. I still have a boatload of stuff though!

What lifts you up when you are down?

My dog, Kirby is the number one thing that cheers me up. The alternatives are decidedly unhealthy--eating things and buying things. No more of that!

    pomeranians - really evil?

I could think of a lot of other small dog breeds that were much worse behaved at the doggie daycare. Including the yorkies, and I have one! Most of the poms I had in the yard were pretty chill. They just wanted to hang out and be petted. The one puppy pom was very high energy and tended to...

What Does Your Screen Name Mean??? How/Why Did You Choose It???

I was nlparker back on CnQ and Peggy started calling me "Parka" in chat and it just sorta stuck. At first I didn't like it because it made me think of giant puffy coats.. but it grew on me. So when CnQ died I just registered the nickname on CnH instead.

    What's your day job?

I have a BBA in Accounting and I need a new job. lol I think I can safely say my profession is "getting yelled at." I do HR, Payroll, and Collections at a smallish company. The employees yell at me for things I'm not responsible for, the customers yell at me when I call them about bills, my...

    P90x

I'm not sure if this is helpful.. but I know a lot of guys around the office who do P90x and are RIPPED. In a good way though--they look amazingly toned, not gross. However they said they just do the exercise and not the diet. I don't know much about the program itself but I hope it works for you.

    Anyone tried Reebok Easytone shoes?

Just wondering if anyone has used them and what your thoughts were. Gimmick or not? I'm curious! On a side note--if no one has and there's enough interest, I may go be the guinea pig and try them. I need a new pair of shoes anyways, and I really want to know. :hmm:

    REALLY Embarassing... Excessive Sweating?

I use Drysol/Hypercare on my palms, the soles of my feet, and underneath the two cantalopes glued to my chest. I tried using it on my armpits but it burned the skin right off. I did use it at night as directed, but I guess I sweat a lot at night. It reacts with your sweat to form a lovely acid...

    Warning - virus alert!!!

You can also download a program called HijackThis and post the log on a forum like Bleeping Computer for analysis. One simple thing you can do if you have a nasty virus: - Start -> Run -> msconfig - Click the "BOOT.INI" tab - Click the "Check all boot paths" button. If a path is not valid, the...

    Congrats Sadie!

She was the overwhelming favorite for best in show, too. I thought it was interesting that a french bulldog won the non-sporting group. Nice looking little dude. Congrats to Sadie! :HBballoons:

You know you've been talking to Tab and Parks WAY too much . . .

LOL, it appears Poopscoop Kirby and Deathbreath Priscilla have wormed their way into your brain too! Here's mine... ETA: No puppy pictures because I got him in December at 2 years old!

    I need a new car :-( Help?

Whatever you do, for the love of whatever's holy, don't buy a Kia or Hyundai.. yes, they've improved.. yes, they have a great warranty.. but you'll USE it. And maybe the repairs are free, but what's the point of having a car if it's always at the dealer being repaired? And it's not going to last...

Childish things you still love as an adult?

Stickers, sweet things (bubble gum, candy, koolaid, etc), stuffed animals, flavored lip balm (aka lipcrack), frosted animal crackers, pudding... guess that's about all I can think of

    Any Twitters here?

I'm proud to not be a twit! Er, I mean twitter.. (sorry, couldn't resist) Honestly, my life isn't interesting enough, nor am I interesting enough to follow. I would just accumulate more creepy stalkers. "Tweeting" just sounds funny, too.

    The Proposal

I actually liked this movie. Yes, the plot is stupid, but the movie clearly didn't take itself too seriously. It was pretty funny, much better than I expected. Ended up being a good pick-me-up movie. :)
