    Life stinks at the moment

I'm sorry to read your story & difficult times. I have been there some time ago. My husband was laid off 3 times in the early years of our marriage. We hung in there like a team and got through it and have been married 20 years now. It totallly sucks--but, you'll get through it....i promise.

Biting, very hard. About to give up.

Hang in there with your little biter. One of my 3 chins was a biter & now he's just the sweetest (& smartest) of all. I always made sure i had lots of sticks for him to bite & chew--that seemed to work; along with the firm (ouch) from me. He's still a little too big for his britches!hehe

    Tooth grinding.

My oldest chin (he's turning 6 Yrs.) and he always does the teeth grinding when he is feelin' happy (treat etc.). He doesn't have any teeth probs., eats fine, weight is great. He also is my Barker!hehe

    Chinchilla Wheels?

I agree with the don't buy the zip carrier--it "will" get chewed on by any chin because it's really, really thin plastic inside. Also, with the other carriers, i've got the plastic ones for my chins--(i have 2 of them)...problem is one of mine chewed on that front lip part by the door. Ugh!! I...

    Popsicle Sticks

I also quit giving them. We stopped with the "sticks" quite some time ago--and we're not going back. I give apple sticks, branch bites, safe wood toy/chews. Not worth the risk of ingesting/cutting mouth/ etc.

    Chinchilla Wheels?

Get the 15" chin spin---Quiet and chins "love it"!! Make room....I did!!hehe Note: definately get the bigger one--i made the mistake of buying the smaller one and they could only run it for short intervals (too small). Anyway--had to buy the bigger size (but, definately worth it!!). I use a...

Need Help with Oral Antibiotics (Syringe Feeding)

I would suggest to not forget to syringe in some water (liquids) also, while working with the meds. I'm a big hydrater chin mom---i've also added chamomile tea (it won't hurt them at all) (use 1c. water to 1 tea bag and steep 2 min.) syringe it to him. (my boy loved it when i had to hand feed)...

Funny!! Get a re-take--he'll do it!! I do have a really neat pic of one of my chins in mid air jumping from one stool to the next in his playroom. It's amazing how acrobatic they want to be!!

    Timothy hay causing stomach problems?

I think you can use orchard grass as a sub for now---it is a grass hay. How is the water bottle---is it cleaned real good-steralized? I had a problem once with a bacteria from water bottle that brought on diarrhea. Clean just in case. Good luck--give lots of water-even if you have to syringe a...

Ok, so i almost killed my friend

Megan, Your pets will be fine and you are a caring chinnie mom! Yah! They probably did just freak out; because of you clapping etc. and your reaction. Did you ever see on tv that women (and i'm sure there's plenty more like her) blowing pot smoke in the kids mouth, as the mom watched. Well, of...
