I came home from York to a new baby boy from my favorite pairing. He was 65 grams and has more energy than I've ever seen from a newborn. I think he'll lighten up a lot but it'll be fun to watch him as he grows.

Even with the extra dark ebonies, you want to trim the tail. Most ebs will have some red on their tails due to staining. One of the judges has said at a few shows that it looks the most professional, and all tails should be cut even if the staining is minimal. They do grow back eventually but it...

From what I've seen, the babies are able to defecate a lot faster than urinate. You will find tiny, not well formed poos pretty quickly.

Congrats.. she's a sweetie. Your scale must be a lot better than mine to give you fractions of a gram. I'm surprised you were able to get her to stay still enough, babies are always such a handful.
