If you need to post in spanish to describe words, we can translate, or others can use http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ I think we will all agree... You need to visit another Vet. Your chinchilla has possible mouth/tooth problems and will need X-Rays to make diagnosis. To X-Ray chin he will need...

    Not drinking, dry poo

NO... A Brita filter is not good for GIARDIA. I am treating a chin right now for Giardia from a Brita system. The part per million requirements for Giardia filtering are set for human consumption not Chins. Give them Distilled or Reverse Osmo water only!!! Or stock up on FLAGYL and get ready...

    Front teeth removal???

This may mean that "Trollism" is contracted from other forums...:hmm: Everyone needs to take the necessary measures to protect themselves... Full rubber body suits must be worn to counter "Black Bile Spewage". And Aluminum foil helmets donned, to keep them from "Reading your Mind".

    fleece dilemma

No way... You will probably break the needle before you break the machine. As long as it does not bog down severely, and you use 110/18G needles or larger, you should be fine. Ro uses an old 1970's sewing machine most of the time, I have one of those cheapo Brother machines from Walmart.

Techniques to train to use wheel?

This is not to cause alarm... But I would put a ledge above the wheel. To where it almost contacts the wheel, and is the same length as the wheel diameter. And remove any ledges near the sides of the wheel, that would inspire him to attempt a jump. Chins are clumsy... And they have broken...

    fleece dilemma

We stopped using batting... ;) Unless it is cross section quilted every inch, to half an inch. The batting will separate from the edges, and ball up in a corner. Then you have the cut all the stitching and remove it. You can use quilted batting, but it is pretty pricey. Most people here are...

To hump or not to hump?

Just dont leave them unattended... They can go from playful, to fight, just like that. And the real pain is not catching them after they start fighting, it's feeling guilty that you did not do something in time. You will always tell yourself "If I had just separated them that night, they...

Cage maintenance, making it easy: Question

I find the best way to keep my cage clean, is to not put my chinchilla in there.:hilarious: I am working on aluminum screens for the sides and back, I will let you know if it is worth it. I have to agree... The little rechargeable DustBuster vacs are great.

    Who uses the FN 143?

You dont want to move it thats for sure... If you have children and you keep the shelf on bottom, you really need to chain it to the wall. I could easily tip it over with shelf on the bottom as it reaches 7 feet.

    Who uses the FN 143?

Oh no, it would be quite stable with no legs. It works out to about the same height as normal without legs. But I need that shelf to store toys, racks, wood, food, etc..

    Who uses the FN 143?

You will need a little step stool to use it, and it will not fit through standard 6.5' doorways. Oh and be careful on carpet, it is very top heavy and will fall over.
