Hi everyone! I will be taking a week-long trip with my family at the end of May and I am looking for recommendations on where I can board my two chinchillas. I am in the Denver Metro area. Please let me know if you have any suggestions! Thanks!
Interesting. I didn't even know Walmart had the FN cages. I'll look into it!
I can definitely see how the one-door mansion could be a pain. I opted for the two doors instead of just one on Einstein's townhome and I love it. I think the condo only comes with one door, but it is smaller so...
Thanks for the advice. I don't plan on housing them together. I originally hoped to introduce them, but I have been unsuccessful and have decided to keep them separate for good.
Thanks, that is good to know! I think I'm definitely leaning more toward the QC cage. I love how their cages are...
I have been wanting to get a new cage for a while now. Currently, Einstein has a Quality Cage Co. chinchilla townhome, which I really like. BamBam has a smaller cage that isn't as sturdy and I really want to upgrade his cage. I also would love to have their cages stacked on top of each other in...
I just wanted to say I had a great time at the show today. It was a great learning experience and I really enjoyed seeing all the wonderful chins! And of course, it was nice to meet some fellow chinchilla lovers. Thanks, Lynn, for helping me to feel welcome!
I think I'm going to try to make it to the show this year! I'm just a pet owner, but I'd love to come check it out and see how things work.
I have a quick question since this will be my first show. Are there vendor booths, or is this strictly for judging? Thanks!
As mentioned above, cats and chins definitely don't mix. I have 5 cats, but my chins are in my bedroom, which is off-limits to the cats. I keep my bedroom door shut and the cats are NEVER allowed to interact with the chinchillas.
I would think the slide-out pan would be easier to remove for cleaning. I have a Quality Cage Chinchilla Townhome and I personally love how the pan just slides right out.
Nice! I love the Springs. I actually adopted my first chin from an animal rescue down there. If you get a chance, you should post some pictures of your chin and hedgie. :)
