The pregnancy has been easy. My dr's appointments have been nightmares due to this "small for gestational age" thing. According to the specialist's office, the baby has outgrown the low percentile, and finally caught up with where it should be, but my normal OB office can't believe that and still wants me to have NST's weekly until I go into labor, and another growth check at 39 weeks. I'm hoping to get to meet my munchkin a bit sooner, though! I think he or she has already dropped, as kicks are getting lower in my belly again.... But knowing my luck, I'll be getting induced at 42 weeks due to a stubborn and uncooperative baby haha

Ash.. I went four days over with Jacob and 4 weeks early with david. Is there really a happy medium? I'm on the fence. lol I liked the NSTs. I liked watching the print out.. I had one NST where they said.. we're gonna give you a shot because you're in labor. I was eating a turkey sandwhich and looking at the nurse like she was crazy. I couldn't feel a thing! The NSTs are cool. (=

Haha I've yet to have contractions on my NSTs. I prefer the ultrasounds. Hearing the baby moving around is just creepy! I can't wait for this lil one to get here!

I know Mae! It's only 3 weeks until my due date, meaning she could be here any day now, and will definitely be here within the next 5 weeks!

38 weeks! And... she's still high as a kite...

Those last weeks/days drag by. Watch for cronic back pain and a day where you are beyond irratable. I was a cranky witch the night my water broke just hormonal and I could not get comfortable to save my life. Same with several people I know that deliverd reciently. Your little one will be here soon

So, Keith and I were talking last night... if Miss Cassie doesn't make her appearance beforehand, I will be getting induced June 11, which is 5 days after my due date. So just 2 weeks away!

I know! I can't believe it. I'd go as long as possible but I can't handle the swelling anymore :( and no pre-e just lots of swelling.

ugh, omg, I have the swelling now too! I had my 36 week appt today and I gained so much weight from just 2 weeks ago! It's all fluid too, I now have cankles!

Although I won't be induced unless they force me to. I don't want an epi so I do not want pitocin.

I wouldn't do inducing if the swelling weren't so bad that it hurts to move. I can't bend my knees or my fingers, and walking is absolutely painful most days. Our girls will be here soon, though!

oh yeah, I can see how that would not be cool. So far mine isn't so bad, but I gained something like 5lbs in two weeks and I think it's all fluid plus a small amount of baby. I hope it stops, I'm already uncomfortable as it is! I think I got like 4 hours of sleep last night.

At least that's one good thing about the end of pregnancy, you get so uncomfortable you actually look forward to labor, and don't care really how the baby comes out, you just want them out!

And weren't you originally not going to find out the gender? Did you decide to find out then?

lol oh okay, yeah, that would probably have been me too, I wanted to know so bad! My husband didn't though and he still sometimes wishes we hadn't. I said for the next one we won't. But now he's saying we need to pick a boy name too just in case it pops out a boy!

Haha! Keith is pretty excited it's a girl, but wants her to stay in til she's potty trained. I told him if that's the case, he can start carrying her around....

Went to the hospital last night for induction due to Cassi still measuring small. Spent 12hrs on cervadil to get my cervix ready, then after about 6hrs on petocin, they broke my water at 3cm. Within 30min I was asking for the epidural, and by the time that was done, I was ready to push. After waiting about 20 min for them to get everything set up since none of us were expecting me to go THAT quick, Cassadi Ann was born with 15min of pushing at 6:03pm weighing 5lbs 11oz. Will post pics when I get home unless someone steals them from facebook for me.
