Kishi sleeps on her side about 90 percent of the time,it really depends on how much room she's left herself,sometimes she'll chew her wooden hut down to a nub and then she won't have a sleeping space until i get a new one and then she'll sleep like a little puffball on her tiny little wooden...

Kishi has tattered ears, it was due to over agressive grooming by a litter mate, or so i was told by previous owner.

so i mentioned awhile ago that kishi hurt her foot, it healed up and looked fine, but now the exact same spot is starting to look red and irritated, the wound was completely closed, but the area is reddened she's walking fine and even still pings off the walls of her cage, and she was climbing...

sorry if this is double posted: i'm looking for a chinchilla vet in the monongahela pennsylvania area, the current vet is in cannonsburg and that is over an hour away, the trip is doable but kishi always ands up stressed out and pees all over when she gets home is there any vets closer

Kishi cries at night to, her cage is in my room so i usually just talk to her and let her know i'm there

i thought chins could skin slip if their tail is grabbed, similar to a gerbil(had a gerbil actually do this, it was terrifying,also i understand that this doesn't happen if the base is held, only in the middle or the end)
