a new habit

Kishi has developed a new habit, whenever i clean her ledges and put them back in, they are often very slightly damp,not wet exactly but just very slightly damp. Kishi used to ignore it and go back to sleepafter i replaced them, now she immediately wakes up and starts to roll her face and head on them.
does anyone else have chins that do things like this, it's almost like she's dustbathing on the bare ledges, i'm pretty sure she's not hot, she seems fine, just devloping this peculiar quirk.

I have some that do that. It's just one of those weird things chinchillas do.

yeah i do give her a dustbath usually with playtime
and the ledges aren't sanded, these are metal ones

Chins are just weird...some of mine do that on top of their pine houses.

My male Pebble will roll in the corners of his cage, like on the wire, standing up... ; Silly creatures.
