As you might know, a hurricaine is slamming Bermuda today. Iw ant to let you know it has started, Binx & family are fine, our power hasn't gone out and we have a generator!

Thanks guys, I will give updates!

Thanks! I just got some really good pictures of the waves, will update soon!
Binx is doing good, going a little crazy in his smaller temporary cage though.
xD

Is the weather affecting him at all? We're getting thunderstorms here and everyone is bonkers in their cage - can't imagine what they'd do in a hurricane.

Hmm, not really. The thunder hasnt been TOO bad, it's the wind that's the main cause. He's been very hyper, but I think that's due to a small cage hes in for temporary evacuation purposes.

Also, there's a chance of tornados spinning off from the hurricane, keep us in your thoughts!

Definitely keeping you and your family and Binx in my thoughts, please take care of yourself and hopefully it will pass without causing too much damage or hurting anyone :crossfingers:

When I heard it was going your way, I thought of you!! Good luck!!

hey good luck at stay safe. under NO circumstances stay if they issue an evac warning.

i evacuated last year for IKE, and lets me say, the effects changed my life for a while. be safe though and keep us updated!

Good luck! Keep you & your chinnie in my thoughts and prayers! Keep us posted!

Hi all! The storm has just about passed, and our power didn't go out, as this was a very weak hurricane- but better safe then sorry! Thanks for all the good wishes, we just have to wait out this last bit of storm and then everything will be fine!

Also- it is "impossible" to issue an evac. in Bermuda since we are 22 miles long, there's not much place to go.

Awesome pictures!

I was thinking about you when I saw that it had turned. I'm glad it did, those little islands out there are pretty flat and like you said - there's nowhere to go!

I always get a kick looking at these storm histories - some of them do a loop and come back.
