I have a question regarding this: I've been in home depot looking for kiln dried pine 2x4s. I believe I've found them in the 'stud' section, but all the price tag says is '2x4 kd somethingsomethingsomething (sometimes pine, sometimes whitewood)' I'm assuming the kd means 'kiln dried', but...

I've searched around the forums, but couldn't find anything related to this product, or the woods contained within. I looked at the 'safe woods' list, but didn't find 'Spruce' on the list. Also, the packaging doesn't say that it's 'kiln dried' and the wood is from 'Natural and Recycled' woods...

So even if Petsmart doesn't sell it (and I don't know if they do or not) they will take it back without a receipt? How can they tell the value to trade it in for?

I'll definately send a list next time. As for the store credit, I don't have a receipt and their policy states you have to have one so yeah. It's all good though. :)

That's not going to happen. My mom lives in another time zone from me and didn't send the receipt so I don't know where she got them. Oh well. She gave me a gift card to petsmart too so I can get replacements anyway. :)

So that will bring me to my second question. How do I tell my mom who bought them? :P But seriously, thanks for the advice!

I'm using a hay ball. It's attached to the side, and high enough that he can get under it, but there isn't too much around that he can perch on it so I'm not worried about that. He still likes to pull all the hay out and make a sort of 'bed' right underneath the ball. He doesn't seem to pee...

I would hope they do honor the internet price, but I wouldn't be surprised of they didn't. I tried something similar with a cell phone that was $50 cheaper online than in the store. When I asked a salesperson about it they said that the in-store price was higher because they have more overhead...

Also, they are maybe a half inch deep at the most. If you're planning on using any kind of loose bedding (pine shavings for example) it won't stay in the cage for long with a Chin running around in it.

Did it come that way out of the box or did you buy it already assembled from a private individual? I would this FN would replace any missing items from their boxes for free.
