The Time Traveler's Wife! I've had it since it first came out, but didn't decide to read it until the movie came out! I want to see the movie, but would like to finish the book first

I just finished The Hunger Games, and it was really good. While it didn't necessarily live up to its potential social-commentary wise, it was captivating, and hopefully provided the groundwork for a more allegorical second novel. I will definitely pick up Catching Fire when it is released this Friday.

I just wondered how many have read this book. Whenever I see someone looking young for their age I say "Kind of like the picture of Dorian Grey". And NO ONE ever knows what I'm talking about. This is one of those books I reread every once in a while and am currently re-reading it now.

I am reading "Skin Trade" by Laurell K Hamilton (almost to the end) and "Handle with Care" by Jodi Picoult.

I was mid-way through Skin Trade when a friend gave me Handle with Care--and that book has grabbed my attention.

I'm reading the Eye of the World by Robert Jordan. It's the first book of the Wheel of Time series. I'm diverting from what I normally read, which is Stephen King. :)

My friend Ryan loves the Wheel of Time books. He loaned me Eye of the World and it was really good. I've been meaning to check the next one out of the library. In the mean time, I am just starting A Separate Peace.

I am working on reading some classics, since I usually go for fantasy books and such. I am currently reading Arabian Nights and I hope to get my hands on Pride and Prejudice soon.

The Wheel of time books are ok. But Robert Jordan does not know how to end a story. There is no ending to the series...

I'm currently reading Small Gods by Terry Pratchet. Plus, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and Northanger Abbey.

Heh, that reminds me. a lot of old literature is being so of rewritten. The catch is that they're adding zombies. I believe Pride and Prejudice With Zombies is the first. Now, I like zombies and all, but I just don't feel to good about them putting them into stories like that. Just weird for me.

The Vampire Lestat, after that World Without End. I like horror mainly, but read anything that's good.

lord of the flies. never read it and it's listed as one of the best dystopia novels; still on that dystopia kick

Terry Pratchett is wonderful, isn't he? :D Small Gods is one of my favorites, right after Good Omens (with Neil Gaiman) and Moving Pictures, Mort is up there too.... Terry Pratchett is great like that.

Oh, and Brie (my GF) is reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. She's really enjoying it. :) The quotes she's read me are great.

i am trying to go thru all the books i get at garage sales & at my monthly library sale.
just finished metro girl & motor mouth by janet evanovich.
this weekend i started "Heartbreak Hotel" by Anne Rivers Siddons. i used to read her books a long time ago but this is the first one i picked up in years.
