I now have 2 chinchillas; Fuyu my baby girl I’ve had since Christmas and Yuki my new little boy I got last month or so. The 30-day quarantine is over and I have already swapped these two and let them roam around in each other’s cages (or bunks as I call them since I got a ferret nation XD )
I'm not too terribly concerned about these two getting along necessarily (I have held both Fuyu and Yuki to each others cages and let them sniff each other without too much aggression being shown ) but that if I were to allow for them to have a playtime together that I may end up with babies, even if I supervise it :/
Should I bother or just let these two stay separate?
