cleaning water bottles?

i just bought the edstrom bottle and i was wondering how you guys clean your water bottles? what is safe to use? it's plastic so i worry about bacteria...any ideas?

They do just fine in the dishwasher. That's how we clean all of ours.

the problem is....i don't have a dishwasher lol...i wish i did...it would make life a lot easier...i'm living in the caribbean right now until June when i go back to my house in Canada...there's a dishwasher there lol

Hot water and a bottle brush does wonders. If you use soap or bleach make absoulutly sure you rinse it out well. and the ration for bleach is 1 part to 10 parts water.

You can also use vinegar and water to clean it.

I don't have a dishwasher either so I feel your pain! I hate using bleach with anything in my world-so I'm all about the vinegar!!!


Works wonders and if you miss some rinsing it out it's fine because it's chin safe:thumbsup:
