Should Just be finishing up, I checked a little bit ago and they were starting class 10... hopefully someone can update us on today's results. I took the day to go see family I haven't seen in 10+ years.... I will be there tomorrow though!!!

The Cali Girls put on a fabulous banquet and evening of fun!!!

Gary Neubauer was our MC. Sumiko put together the most wonderful slide show with pictures of many members, some very old childhood pics as well as modern day ranchers and members through the years. It was so cool to see some of the old time Greats of the Chinchilla Industry!!!

The mutation show is scheduled for a 9:00 start, so I need to get moving!!!
 
I'm sorry I didn't write anything down, I know GSC was hetero beige (I believe and La Palomas) and the next two were Blacks CC and RCC. or the Blacks were first? anyway there were TONS of BV's and Ebonies. I cannot say all CC's because I don't remember them. Sorry guys!

I think everyone either left this afternoon or are leaving tomorrow. I had fun! it was a fantastic show and great event! I'm glad I could come!
 
I heard it was a crazy busy show, so I am sure updates will be up sometime in the next couple of days! I wish I could have gone...need to do some better planning for next year.
 
I hope the winners are posted soon. I would think the owners would be so excited that the would post it right away, lol.
 
It was very busy and most everyone wanted to get on the road to get home asap! Im sure the girls are wore out from running the show. I have a long drive back to St. Joe, Mo tomorrow and I hope results are up by the time I get my animals put away!!

We had a great turn out at the show and were lucky to have some international guests, Bernice Teran (La Paloma), Patricia Perrin (Chinchillas Ximoco), and Moises Kassin (Mexico). We were also excited to have Doc Butler and Bud and Joan Bowen present at the show.

Thank you to the Suhrs for doing the initial hotel scouting and finding such a great location, the Beitzes for bringing the show equipment and setup/breakdown, our WONDERFUL all-female judges panel: Maxine Lynch, Sue Kiseskey, and Donna Read for doing such a great job and giving such detailed comments, Gary Neubauer for being our entertaining Master of Ceremonies/Awards Official, to Dan Jensen, Mark Miller, Ruby Hickman and Maynard for handling animals, to Maynard, Merritts, La Paloma, and Smiths for their live animal donations, to Ashleigh Powell for helping with ribbons and cleanup, Nan Ebiner and Nicole Galliano for helping with ribbons, to Taras for assembling the trophies, Maxine and Therese for the beautiful chinchilla rose pin favors, Tabitha for handling the show books and advertisements, and Therese for organizing the banquet and being there every step of the way.
