I currently have fleece covering one side of the cage, but it isn't attached properly so it kind of droops and just looks really sloppy :( Definitely helps with the mess though!

Hi, all! I've been looking for a way to cut down on the poop and debris that comes out of the cage. I found this (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=23959&rel=1) cage cover that looks exactly like what I need. It's 100% polyester, is this safe for chinchillas?

Of course the pan comes the day after I clean the cage. But nonetheless, it's here! It arrived before I even had a chance to call.

Thanks for all the great ideas! I'm definitely going to be replacing the plastic shelves with tons of homemade ones. In the cage my chins are in now, I put Carefresh bedding in the pan, but that pan is separated from the cage (if that makes sense). Can I do the same in this one?
