Some chins recover fine... some have complications. The best thing you can do for your chin is to find a vet who is very experienced in neutering chins. You do need to be prepared that you may have to hand feed them for a few days while they recovered. I had to hand feed my chin for about 4 days...

I definitely agree with what was said above. Make sure you baby proof the cage and do not put the male back in with the female. Breed back is very unhealthy for females. Remove all shelves and make sure mom and baby have a "hidey hut" to give them some privacy. I would also buy some goats milk...

What brand is it? Mazuri, oxbow etc. I would stop with the banana chip treats, too much sugar. Does his poop smell at all? Is there ever any mucus on it? I would definitely take a sample to the vet and have it get checked out.
