    Rescues with small poo?

Stress will cause the chins to have small poos-- Everytime I get a new rescue they have small poos for a few days- usually it goes away by the time they get settled in .

    Painting and FN

You could just get a decorative sheet or fabric to cover the sides-- I did that and it keeps the poo and dust inside better too!!

    Another bite wound (warning: photos)

Did you say that you have them in a temporary cage? If it is smaller than their normal cage they probably need to have their own space. I have a pair of boys here that get along great but when you put them in a smaller space together they bicker at each other.

I mix it in with the Timothy hay about 2 times a week. Ihave one chin here that hates the botanical hay for some reason.

    Rate my chin cage

I think that Tara pretty much covered it-- You can make wood shelves very easily and the chins love to chew on the wood. I made 6 shelves for under 20.00 including hardware. I am not that handy with tools so if I can do it I am sure anyone can!!

    The Chin That Ran Away

OMG !! That could be bad-- I had a live trap for my hamster and NO IT DOES NOT KILL-- and it worked : ) Peaches the ham was gone for nearly a week and we caught her in the trap. I just put food in it and when they are hungry enough it goes in there and the trap closes. I would put food and...

How do chins do when split permanently from their buddies?

Yep I agree-- I separated my girls for a night and they cried all night long- I thought that one of them had a hurt leg and wanted to monitor her in a smaller cage-- The other one didn't eat or drink until I put her back with her.

I looked when I was at the pharmacy for clear because I get the dark circles too-- raccoon eyes--ugh!! I don't use it that often but now I am going to look @ Target--thanks for reminding me!! My mom says that my mascara runs because I use so many moisturizers on my face- but I don't know if taht...

    Cockatiel help?!

I don't know that much about birds but I recently bought a baby quaker parrot and took her to the vet the day after she was home. They wanted to make sure that we had her tested for chlamydia and a few other zoonotic diseases. Please make sure that, especially if she is drawing blood, that you...

When the previous owners want their chinchilla back

I think that the circumstances would be considered. I can't say that I would listen to every sob story but I am human and am not perfect either. If they are having a housing, divorce, other issue I may consider it. I do have to say that I would still charge an adoption fee and make them go...

    Blue Cloud vs. Blue Sparkle

I have found that the Blue Cloud is a lot "dustier" LOL no seriosly though I had a few asthma attacks when using the Blue Cloud-- I have allergies anyhow. But the Blue SParkle tends to be less dust flying in the air. I don't show chins so I can't tell you there but for a pet only person the...

    A MONSTROUS cage, indeed!!!

That is what I just did with mine-- My girls have one level to share and my vys have 2 levels to themselves. I took the bottom storage shelf off so I could still reach the top level--- I still use a step stool. I am only 5'3 " so that is super tall. I love the cage like that-- IT IS HUGE...
