I currently let my Chinchilla out to play in a hall way. I take his cage off the base and place it in front of one of the doorways so he cannot get out. My question is should I open his cage door to let him go inside his cage and play around or leave it closed and let him explore being outside...
Well hes five so hes not young. Yes ive got fleece hammock, house, and tube for him. If hes cold He will know enough to try and get warm by hanging out on the fleece? Currently in a cast and crutches lol so definately cannot get a space heater at this time of night.
No heat for the night! My house is currently 58 and probably will not go down lower than 55 hopefully! Ran out of oil. OK temperature for my little guy?
the problem is my chin doesn't like cardboard. I've tried to put cardboard boxes, toilet paper rolls and he just isn't interested in it. I tried to rip it in half to see if he will tear it up but he may jump on top of a box but will not try to chew at it.
Just bought a playpen for my little guy and want to outfit it with other toys besides sticks and cardboard boxes. Any ideas of products that people use to entertain their chins while in their playpens or play-areas?:)
Bought a playpen last week of ebay the zebra print and its definitely the best investment ive made. No more vacuuming my whole room or in corners or worrying about him chewing on baseboards. Put the open doorway up to his cage and let him go in and out freely without having to be glued to him...
