Regardless of whether the vet knew what animal it was or not... they should know how to deal with animals with exposed bones. I would expect the treatment to be the same for most rodents in this situation..antibiotics to avoid infection..

Nothing has changed and that is the only thing that really worries me. I thought for a second that it might be because it is summer... but then that wouldnt matter we have had a/c on the whole time... It freaks me out when she drops weight for no reason :(

It is possible and I have thought that but it just seems so promising when I get her at like 504. I think I may just be losing my marbles and just worrying too much... I am known to do that. she is also about "2" years old

Since I got Poppy In November the only issue I have had with her is her weight. Every time she makes it over 500 grams she drops down again she is now at the same weight as when I got her! When I was a kid I was terrified of chinchillas. (The people who moved out of the house we moved into said they lost their chinchilla while they were packing up) I had no idea what a chinchilla was or what they looked like until... a year and a half ago lol!

I hope they get along with the others I would love to have one great big playtime. However, Stella and Luna are Brats lol so I can see that much not working but There is still hope for Poppy and Kali and I think that would be tooo cute!
