will a water bottle be good enough for my baby hedgie to get adequate water?

It's not recommended for hedgies to use water bottles, but instead to use a water dish.

Use a water dish.
The one exception I'd make to this is if your hedgie is new to you and has never had a water dish before, then put in both a water bottle and a water dish. Once you're sure that your little one has successfully made the change to the dish, take out the water bottle.
