Is it normal for a chinchilla to lay down constantly throughout the whole night and continue clean her genitalia? She is doing it much more now, and im worried something may be wrong.
Lying down could mean boredom. Try getting new toys to chew and play with, if nothing changes then take her to the vet to see someone who has experience with Chinchillas.
