Superpet Chew-proof Water Bottle

I was wondering if anybody who has the superpet chew-proof glass water bottle knew if the glass part is dishwasher safe. I assume it is but it's always good to double check.

Always put mine in there! But watch out for the place where the nozzle meets the white cap, it rusts after a while!

They rust fast actually. I love Lixit glass bottles, you can get them in the bird aisle.

I remove the metal section that covers the white plastic and that cancels out the rusting issue, at least it has for me. I do still prefer the lixit bottles over the superpet, but I sometimes get them in with rescues so I just do the needed adjustments.

As for them being dishwasher safe, yes, the glass is. I wouldn't recommend putting the nozzle in there. Super hot water and bleach break down rubber, and will also make the metal rust faster.
