Some advice needed please

My chinchilla has rolled in all purpose flour like a dust bath. Somebody forgot to put it away and Marble destroyed the bag when he got loose this afternoon. I came home to flour chin prints everywhere and a very white chinchilla. Is all purpose flour safe for chins to roll in? :embarrassed:

Shouldn't be an issue since they can eat oats and wheat kernels. Check his/her eye to make sure no flour got in it. Dust your chin out with your regular dust.

Oh good I'm glad it won't hurt him. I rubbed most of it off with a towel and let him have a real dust bath. Thank you so much for the reply

It won't hurt him. I don't think it will do much for his coat. Why did he do that? What a silly little chinchilla.

I swear the things they get into can give us a heart attack yet crack us up. I had a rescue here that I almost called the fire department so they can free her because she got stuck in a laundry basket. She should've known she has a big butt, but nope she just had to squeeze through the hole.
