small poo

I noticed today in his cage for the first time small poo and they are kind of dark and and a little hard. I am not to sure why and i am getitn kind of curious as to what it may be.:hmm:

Sometimes my chins get the "small poops" during the day when they are less active. As soon as the evening comes along it's all back to normal. If your chin is healthy and eating and drinking fine, they should be ok. Maybe take him out for playtime and see if they get larger and or more normal looking.

Is he eating less hay? Mine have spent the past few days protesting a new batch of hay, and the poop in the cage is definitely much smaller.

Any changes around him? Make sure the water bottle works also.

ditto what sandi said. observe throughout the day and see if they resume to normal size.

Well he is in a. New cage but he doesn't seem to be eating his hay that much but there wasn't much of a change after playtime
