Okay, so I'm looking for the more experienced chin parents to reply. My little guy is 12yrs old & in overall prefect health. We had some issues a few weeks back but he's bounced back and it appears to have been stressed related (vets diagnosed).
So my question/debate is this he has a small growth/Abscess on his anus. It does not hurt him, hinder his poop, he doesn't even chew on it. He had one when he was 7, we had surgery to remove it to ensure nothing more serious was happening. It was an abscess & harmless (vet diagnosed). At that time we did bloodwork & X-ray while under the anesthesia. Everything was perfect & normal. My husband doesn't want him to go under anesthesia for something that doesn't hurt/bother him given his age and that he ways just over 1lb. I also have concern given his age, but given his recent issues I really want an X-ray of his teeth. So if they put him under anesthesia for that they might as well do bloodwork & remove the abscess as well. Thoughts????
