No, I don't think they'd be a good idea. You need to use just plain saline solution. They have it at any drug store, it's usually very inexpensive. It normally comes in a much larger bottle, usually a plastic squeeze bottle.

This would be a little more appropriate (but I would just buy it locally since it will probably be cheaper that way.):
