popsicle sticks

I would like to know what to look for when buying popsicle sticks for the girl's toys?
Or could you recommend where I could buy some?

I don't recommend them because they splinter easily and I've heard of chins getting pieces of them stuck in their mouth... I'd go for a plain old stick!

I don't buy popsicle sticks for the same reason Riven mentioned.

I had one who chewed on a bunny bite-a carrot shaped popcicle stick, she almost choked to death. She was very lucky she was at work with me and the vet was only 10 min away.

I also have a chin that got injured by a popsicle stick..one of the splinters cut his mouth. They love them but I never gave them again after that.

Kelly, I agree with the popsicle sticks ban, I got stabbed really bad by one of the splinters just cleaning them up once, and that was a revelation to me. I never gave them again after that, I didn't want it to happen to one of my girls.

i never tried popsicle sticks but i saw someone who sells handmade chinchilla supplies and she had a few popsicle stick items. Though I'm not sure about them if they're good or not.
