I saw this playhouse on the Petco website and was wondering if anyone was actually seen it or bought it?

I always get apprehensive about things at Petco...they never seem to be any good...

I think people have used those for their chins. I do believe they are safe and probably a lot of fun for the chinnie and for the owner to watch!

I have to agree with you on the petco comment. I had to quit going to my neighborhood
one--i think the hay wasn't so fresh--they never carried the good foods. The box
castle looks pretty good though--get your camera out!!hehe

That is about the only thing I would trust from there. Hard to mess up a box! (but I would not be surprised it they did!)

That's really cute. As for Petco goes, I also have to agree. They have like nothing for chins and other small animals. I was very dissapointed.

$16.99??? wow! that is a good deal. And i am another one who does not like petco. I only go there if i have to. ( And i definately dont like the way they treat the chins in there. He/She looks so sad and also looks like they havent had a dustbath in a few weeks. Not only that but they keep them in an AQUARIUM! >..< Couldn't this hurt them or cause them to have a heat stroke??? *off subject, oops* As for the "chin playhouse" i love this! I am going to have to pick me up one! (

I recall on cnq seeing a few threads about these & the people always hyped how much fun they were for both the chinchillas & them. =]

Ive made my own from cardboard, but i also have an inside to big sheets of it. =]

I bought one for my rabbit from Bunny Bunch Boutique about 3 years ago - he loved it and it lasted him a while. It is something the chins would really have liked. The one I bought had "stairs" instead of ramps - which was a big plus for a larger rabbit. (New Zealand/Himi mix)

It's kinda small, like two foot tall. I think the other cardboard box type houses I've seen are much bigger. But, thats not to say the chinnies wouldn't enjoy it!

Yeah there is the rabbit country cottage and everyone loves that one. hmm im gonna have to go to the store and look at it!!!

I had one, not sure what happened to it. I know Puddles loved it. And I did too until she started using it to launch over her playpen wall. I think I might have to get another one though because she really enjoyed it!
