Ok so i was thinking that maybe we can add a thred with just names. I was looking for the perfect name for my chinnies and did a search and found a couple threads wanting a specific name or two for a pet but not one just dedicated to names. Yes, but he's no longer with me.

The majority of the time, I wait a while, sometimes weeks, before giving an animal a name. It sounds hokey but I believe they tell me what they want to be called.

It isn't hokey at ALL - as I said - I need to see them in order to "find" the right name for them...

Umi (my first female), Jazz, Tasuki, Cherry, Uberto, Ulisses, Ugo, Melissa, Marius, Merete (mother of the 2 mentioned previously), Caro, Vila, Chaos, Bolivar, Rosa, Rain, Lady , Xena, Romeral, Ronja, Dessa, Dia, Garnet, Uriel, Isa, Huge (Hurrigane), Cream....
Other animals than chins: Dark, Dame, Hermes, Dante, Mori, Oni, Tomo....

Normally I name my chins after I've gotten to know them a little. I believe everyone (person and animal) have their own name and it will come eventually, sometimes I've seen a chinbaby right after birth (Dia for example) and known what it should be named and sometimes it takes longer.

Ok im thinking of fitting name for my black velvet. She's a little viscous so i want to find a fitting name. Any ideas? She latched onto my daughters arm the other day and wouldn't let go. I have never been bitten or seen anyone be bitten like that. She is very very protective of her cage. She is very naughty. Also a pee-er. Lol we like the name jezabelle but i am open for ideas.
