banana chips and cranberries are not safe chin treats though. they contain natural sugars, which are not good for a chin's digestive system. better treats are dried rosehips, plain shredded wheat (spoon size) or even a new stick to chew.

I just want to mention that just because there is not sugar added to a treat it does NOT mean it is sugar free. Those dried banana chips and cranberries are FILLED with sugar.

Ditto to what Crysta and Sherry pointed out, dried fruits are loaded with natural sugars, which chins can't process. And really treats shouldn't be given at all until she is over 6 months of age.
