Hello everyone! This is a question that's been on my mind for a while now.
My little Kila likes to chew on a lot of things (of course, he's a chin!) but some things I don't want him swallowing.
For example, sometimes I can tell he's not eating it. He loves clothespins and after a while I see all the wood shavings in the cage pan. But he also has a little cardboard box he likes to play in, and while it is shredded to death I can't tell if he's eating some.
I recall seeing him kinda.. spit out? a piece of a willow basket he has in his cage but I'm not sure if that counted.
Would I be able to see it, whether it's seeing it come from his mouth or in his cage in little pieces? Or is it pretty much a guessing game?
