I remember on CnQ there were one or two people that had chins in Hawaii but I am not sure if they are on here to give more info.

If I remember correctly, there was a breeder of chins in Hawaii, I think on the big island. But I don't think they were breeding anymore, or their site at the time hadn't been updated in a long time.
As it is, I don't think that there are any reputable breeders there. I tried googling it and could find ads for chins for sale, but I highly doubt they're reputable. Probably pet store chins being bred as I do know that some pet stores there carry them.

yeah i bet it would be a pain to bring chins there, then try to sell them

I was just at Hawaii! The big island had chinchilla at Petco (>.>) And they looked so unhappy! It's wayyyy too hot for them there and with no A/C too! Evilness!
