Future Louisiana hedgehog owner!

Hey! I'm from southern Louisiana near Baton Rouge. I should become a hedgehog owner pretty soon! I just can't find any breeders around here. =\ I have never thought about owning hedgehogs until someone posted a picture of a baby hoglet on facebook and I had to have one. I researched them and found this forum. They are the perfect pets!! Will post pictures when/if I get a hedgehog anytime soon!


P.s. Let me know if you have heard of any Louisiana hedgehog breeders. I really don't want to purchase one from a pet store. Thanks!

Thanks! I have seen her website and will probably get one from her. At first I was worried because she is so booked up and I would have to fill out an application to be considered eligible to buy one. Plus when you buy one, she still has partial custody of the hedgehog. I'm not going to worry about that too much because it means she's really worries about her hedgehogs!
