First violet! C9 needs a name

This isn't the best photo but.. It has to do for now.

My first violet was born Saturday. He's really cute and the friendliest baby I've had. He hops over to say hello every morning.

Now for a name.. I considered Nike or Oakley. Maybe Mr something.

Congrat!! This little guy is adorable. I like both names, very sporty. The pic is a little burry, is the dam a mosaic v/c ?
 
Too bad he wasn't a girl or I'd say name her Rhonda ;)

I had a violet I named Blue. He was one of my favorite chins of all time and I loved him so much! Your little guy reminds me so much of him, and I am not sure why.

Strangely enough, I have a guinea pig named C9. :D

(You know how I have the weirdest names for animals...)

Could someone explain the system behind the name/number combo for unnamed babies? I know my Bovril was C7 at one point, hehe. I've been trying but I haven't been able to puzzle out the pattern without knowing more.
 
Bovril, The letter stands for the year that the chin was born. This year is "C", last year was "B", etc... The number following the letter is which kit that was born on that person's ranch during that year. So this baby was the 9th kit born in Encantadora's herd this year. The first kit I had born in my herd this year was PAC C1. PAC is my ranch brand. Hope that makes it easier to understand.
 
Yes, mom was a std vc.

I kinda also like cloud. Or maybe Mr Blue. Nike is still in the running.

In other news, my bv Roulette just had a std son. !!!
 
Oooh. Maybe he and my swagger can have babies together! Heehee. Yup, girl.

Steven Tyler and Swagger are my standards from Godins chins. Diggity is the violet sc male from her. Klinger is my new Jags male.

I'm going to throw in the name "Ace" as the new standard baby boy name. Keeping with the gambling theme in his mothers name. ;)

Mutters to self....my animals better hurry up in the romance department.

And Ace is now named :) he's got more attitude than any baby EVER. I picked him up to check gender yesterday. His eyes were barely open and he was squeaking, jumping and putting up a good fight. Guess he's healthy!

Love the name Nike, that is the name of my miniature horse. It means victorious.

I think the romance fairy dropped by last night. One cage has shavings all over the floor. ( fingers crossed)

That's pretty funny the little guy making a fuss about being picked up. So small and such a spit fire. You'll have to update photos as they grow. Too cute.
 
Have you tried Outfits? Some girls need to whip out the knee highs and handcuffs. Throw in a Viagra night and whalla!

I did end up naming the violet Flash. Mom is Hero so I'm naming her kits superhero characters.
