The Chinchilla Lady
Just wanted to let people know about a great product for hand feeding kits. A couple of years ago I found it frustrating when trying to feed kits using the eye dropper method or using a plain syringe. The kits did not seem to like either one and the 'one drop at a time' could mean a small drop or a large drop of formula.
I met a woman who lived near me who has been doing squirrel rehab for many years. She has a ton of supplies and when visting her one day I saw several types of feeding nipples that she sold. After purchasing a couple of different ones in hopes that one would more resemble a chin mom and thus making hand feeding kits easier and frankly more pleasant for the kits, I narrowed it down to this one:

I attached it to a 1cc syringe and I have had excellent results with using it. It always gives you one small drop of formula and the kits love it! I have actually had some even suckle it. In my opinion it is far better than anything else I have ever tried and I would never hand feed without one again.
It looks huge in the photo, which of course it is not.
