DIY air conditioner

Just stumbled upon this and thought of my fellow chins-n-hedgies friends. This looks simple enough, and pretty cool that it's portable!

I suppose it'd be good for when the AC unit goes out, just not the power itself.

That is neat. Would be good for when the a/c goes out.

I would use frozen ice packs though. I have a bunch that gets shipped with my moms medicine that has to be refrigerated, so I just keep them in the freezer for the chinnies.

There's a battery operated fan that you can use also, for when there's a power outage. I think Kmart carries them for about $20.
