David Seeds?

Can I feed my chin those sunflower seeds? In my pellet food they have some...
Are David's seed TOO salty?
My Chin seems to really like the sun flower seeds in his pellet food...he likes to split open the seeds :]...and leave the mess for me lol! :]

No seeds. Your food should not have seeds or fruit in it. You want a pellet only feed. I suggest you go and buy a new feed (Oxbow, Mazuri, Tradition are a few) and do a cold switch. There are members who sell feed on the forum. Look through our list of stores. Sandi sells Oxbow for a great price and she ships fast.

Okay thank you...I didn't know it shouldn't have seeds in it. It doesn't have fruit though...but still...thanks.

Seeds have too much fat in them for a chinchilla. They shouldn't even be getting them as a treat let alone in a daily food. I agree with Cindy, you need to find a better food.
