Ok so awhile back i remember there being a link on here to a site that sold really cheap fn142s and people would print out the site page and go to a store and do price match
Does anyone know what the site was?

the other site was kennelvet.com but it looks like they have redone their site and raised prices. Petsmart is the store that should price match but a lot of people have problems with it, you would probably want to call your local store ahead of time and speak with a manager

looks like megapetland is the cheapest right now

My Petsmart was really good at price matching as well, didn't have any problems, manager came right over turned a key and done. But I know a lot of people have had issues

Im not sure if this is new but the policy actually says that you can use online prices in-store. I guess they made sure people cant get cheaper stuff as easily

Thank for the good bargain from megapetland!

To date I found cheapest price for fn142 are

- USD205.98 from ferret.com (with shipping included)
- USD219.95 with free shipping from allpetfurniture.com but currently out of stock.
- Amazon.com is USD229.63 with free shipping.

What about a Fiesty Ferret cage? I got one at petsmart for about $175...it's quite like the ferret nation and it has a slide out pan for easy clean up!

Oh do you have a picture?
Ferret nations are around 200ish so its not terrible i just figure why not try to save some money since im saving for a car right now

Ok thanks
Does anyone have pictures of a FN??
Im confused as to how the middle section works...
Is it only a divider or is there a whole of them to get through?

I use 2 FN142s with my hedgehogs. The floor in them is a wire grid that you put a pan on top of. In one of mine I have separated the levels by putting in a full size Bass pan (no cut out). The other, I put the grid for the shelf that is under the cage in instead of the one with the cut out (and a pan on top). The shelf is identical to the full size floor.

So there are a couple of options of how you can make them separate cages.

To be honest the FN is a really good cage for the sale prices. It's so easy to clean and with bass pans, shelves, chubes and hammocks makes for a really nice home for your baby. Edgar loves his and I like it being so easy to open up that I can easily clean it everyday.
