Ok people, I'm taking a break from my CphT training to give my brain a chance to calm down and ask you guys a question. It's a really simple question, and as much as I enjoy math, this has always been a HUGE issue for me...

Metric conversions. I can never remember which way to move the decimal when converting from larger to smaller (i.e. L to mL or mcg to g, etc). So, does anyone have an easy way to remember which way to take the decimal?

You mean like King Henry Died Unexpectedly Drinking Chocolate Milk?

If you have a King (kilo) and want to see how much Milk (milli) that is, you're moving to the right... so move the decimal that way. Let's say were talking about grams, 5kg will be 5,000,000mg (moving the decimal 6 places to the right).

Something like that, smhuffle. That works pretty good, except it doesn't include micrograms (1/1000000) but is right up the alley of what I need.
