Bamboo????

So my neighbor gave me a hole LOT of bamboo... Never been sprayed... Just growing wild in his backyard... I was wondering how do I prepare it??? I usually just buy it... Any help.. Suggestions...????

I'm not sure how you would prepare it, most people don't use it because it splinters so easily.

Hey guys.

I know this is an old thread but i've got a question about bamboo as well.

We've got a big bamboo plant in the lounge, about 6 foot, which one of our chins (now renamed bamboo) likes to sit by and occasionally nibble at...is that ok?

I only ask as these are our first chins and I'm trying to be really careful as to what we feed them as I know they're quite delicate!

I don't know that I would allow my chin to chew on fresh bamboo. Woods that are given to chins are generally dried out.
