Bamboo

Can anyone tell me if Bamboo is an acceptable wood for Chins?
I can't find it on any safe wood list but I could swear I saw something made out of Bamboo for them.
Maybe my dementia is kicking in again. :hair:

You're probably thinking of the hay mats or the willow products. Both look similar to bamboo. I don't know if it's safe or not but when in doubt err on the side of caution. There are plenty of other woods on the safe wood list that can already be used.

Bamboo is safe, but most of us don't use it because it splinters so easily. I got a few pieces in the box of wood I ordered from PPBN, and Chula LOVED it, but I never did order anymore because I didn't want to take the chance of them getting gum/throat splinters.
