Baking Wood?

I was wondering, When you make the grapevine wreaths do you bake that before you make it? DO you need to take the bark off of it?

I scrup them first and bake them after as the grapevine will become brittle making it harder to work

You don't have to take the bark off grapevine. I scrub and then boil for a bit. It makes the wood pretty pliable and cleans it well. I then bend into shape (while the wood is still wet), and bake until completely dried and crispy.

So what if I also wanted to bake some just for Milo to chew on??

If your not wanting to shape them just scrub away,boil then bake
