Ash wood

Have we decided on ash wood yet? I am seeing it listed on many sites as safe, and a few sites as unknown. A forum search showed a few people would use it.

We have a healthy, untreated ash tree that we pruned along with pear and apple trees. I'm processing the apple and pear now and am unsure what to do with the ash.


Would you or would you not use ash for the chins?

For me personally it would depend of the type of ash (as there are several)
