Considering I missed the one closest to me, I am planning on attending this one, if nothing else than to stock up on supplies and meet some more chin people. 
If anyone from FL would like to go but doesn't want to make the drive, please let me know. I would love to carpool with someone and be able to split the cost. You would just have to drive to me and then I would drive to the show. It's about a 4 hour drive from my house. I have a fully fenced in backyard where you could keep your vehicle safe and sound while we are out of town. I plan on leaving the 13th and returning back to Jacksonville, FL the morning of the 15th.
I have a hotel room booked at the Courtyard Marriott in Augusta. It is a 19 mile drive, but it's a straight shot down a single road so it shouldn't take any longer than 20 min. to get to the show location. Since I am a Marriott employee I am able to pay significantly less for a hotel room than the regular rate. I have booked it for 2 nights, from Jan. 13th-15th, for $39.00 per night plus tax. I have booked a room with two queen size beds, so I have an additional bed for anyone who would like to stay with me. You could stay one night, or both, whatever works for you. It would only cost you $22.03 for the night. If someone is traveling up with me I would of course offer the other bed to them first. The more the merrier in my opinion though. I know people are strapped for cash, so if two people want to share the other bed, or see if we could get a rollaway bed, feel free to let me know. That would bring the cost down to $14.69 for each of us per night if we had 3 to the room.

Called the hotel and they do not offer rollaway beds. That said, I still have that second queen bed and any floor space that anyone would like to claim. Just as an FYI, this is a non-smoking hotel.

I am bringing 2-4 depending on if I decide to bring some of my young ins (have several 5-6mo olds).

I am also having to cancel the show. I am traveling down to south FL to pick up a rescue chin. For anyone who still needs a room you are welcome to take over mine. I will not cancel it until the day before the show in case anyone is interested.

Congrats to everyone! The venue was great and of course it's so nice to see everyone!
Very proud on my eb male who took home the big trophy and his brother who made it on the final table. Not too shabby for my two chins in the show! I took a few pics and will post them when I get home.

How many chinchillas were in the show? What color was the GC? Standard? Love to see some pictures.

And a few other mutes lasted. I think Kayla's beige was something like fourth or fifth overall but he was really young.
You can see the eb boys on Christy's for sale thread to. I got some photos but my home computer (I'm told) went to a better place this weekend.
