Yeah mulberry should never smell like smoke. To me it smells like gram crackers. Lol. I love gram crackers so I think it smells good. Even if the wood was left in the oven to long and burned a little it still doesn't smell like smoke.

I just got an update on pups and mom. All the ticks have been removed. The pups ears are still very sore and bleed very easly, they were all vaccinated and mom got a flea dip. Puppies are also starting to feel better and run around a play with each other. They still have a big road of recovery...

Thanks ladies. The puppies and mom are hanging in there. They are having to take the ticks out very slow since their blood isn't clotting due to the tick fever. They have the pups and mom on Antibiocs and fluids.

Yeah my Dane loves to run around like that too. We have a friend who has a whippet and she can actually keep up with him, till he turn anyways, lol, but if their running straight shes right there next to him.

They feed him way to much. He is very very over weight for a Dane. You should be able to see at least the last 2 ribs on a Dane.

I have 2 Great Danes but they are no where near his size. I wish though. And for those of you who think they eat a lot, mine don't. We feed them the Raw Diet which is so much less then dog food and way better for them. They each eat about 2-2.5 pounds of Raw meat a day.

I know you said you don't want to deal with the raw diet, but I have to tell you it would be worth a try. I feed my 2 dogs the raw diet and they have the most beautiful coat, the softest fur, no smell and best yet super small poops, and their both Great Danes. I would never feed my dogs anything...
