i have 2 chinchillas that are already bonded they been together for over a year and we recently just got another little chin. 1 of the older ones dose not really mind the new chin they can actually play for a while then the older one starts to get mad at the little one, and the other older one...
little freedom is doing good i marked his water bottle last night to see if he drinks and he is definitely drinking from his bottle on his own and he munched up all his food and almost all his hay, and he is a pooping machine..
i noticed my other chins whiskers were chewed on before, I gave the dominant chin a trim last night and I feel super bad now, yes the barking and fighting between them has stopped and but now he just sits there sad looking he wont even sit in his usual spot over looking the whole cage now i feel...
what are the details and effect of trimming your chinchillas whiskers I been reading a few things on them but still am unsure sorry if this question has been answered on here already.
i no when i seen the chin on her lap just sitting there letting her pet it and groom it i was like what the heck dude my chin's are little brats they don't EVER EVER just sit on my lap and let me groom them or pet them its like a battle to just hold them sometimes.. lol
haha yeah the treats always work well they love me when i have a treat lol, during playtime im also there best friend when they want to use me to jump up on to something they cant reach lol, ill attempt to give them more scritches today. i hope they warm up more to me i seen someone have there...
i tryed doing the scritches where i seen people giving them in pictures and videos but they reject them they push my hands away but if i have a treat in my hand oh im there best friend they will sit as long as it takes to get that treat.
