    Chinchilla show live on-line

I wonder if you pay a fee to watch the video. I think the only way this would negatively affect the branches is if people decide to watch rather than bring animals or enter the raffles. However, I myself would only use it for shows I wouldn't be going to in the first place. Half the show is...

    2012 Empress National Show - March 9, 10, 11 - St. Joseph, MO

Standard and pelt shows are over. I can't tell you what happened in the pelt show, but the standard show was great! La Paloma had 5 class champs and Hummel had 4, with Bob Merritt taking one also. Hummel and La Paloma were neck in neck for the top breeders award, but Hummel took it by one point!!!

January 14, 2012 - Heartland Group ECBC Sanctioned Show - Burlington, KS

I think Cathy took some pictures, I hope she will post them soon! She took several pictures of the Blue Diamonds, we got to go up and look at them under the show lights. It was a great educational show!

January 14, 2012 - Heartland Group ECBC Sanctioned Show - Burlington, KS

The show went well. I believe there was 101 standards and 55 or so mutes. Dick Bradford and Jim Ritterspach were great judges and had a good time judging. Mark Miller swept the table and took Grand Show, Reserve Grand Show, and also 3rd Best of Show in standards. He also took Grand Show Mutation...

    What color am I?

He could be a homo pink white, what color are his eyes? However, the only surefire way to tell is to breed him and see if he produces whites or standards. If he produces standards, you know he's not a homo beige.

    Triplets...should I try handfeeding?

I won't say anything on handfeeding, but if you have a breeder that you are close to nearby you could ask if they have any females to farm out to.

    losing wiskers?

Perfectly normal. They don't lose them very often, and I think most of the time we miss them. I bet Lynn will chime in on her love of whiskers, I think she collects them! We have fun at shows spotting the occasional whisker a chin drops and running up to grab it. :dance3:

    Pellet Poll

I also feed Manna Show, and have found my animals do very well on it, better than on both Oxbow and Tradition.

    Bass Pan Shipment

I also got my pans in about a week after ordering. I don't think they sent me anything saying they were shipped, but I may have missed it.

The Christine's (Twilight Chins) Creative Mind Fan Club Thread!

Wow, it looks amazing! I am so excited to see it in person! For people thinking about buying from Christine, it is definitely worth it! She was great at interpreting my wants and turning it into an awesome chin house. Thanks so much!

Heartland ECBC Field Day Show October 15, 2011 Burlington, KS

Joe Brown had GSC Std, RGS Std, GSC mute, and I believe also RGS mute! There were 63 standards and only 34 mutes. We ended up doing a ten class show for the standards to waste time. Cassie won class champ with her beautiful standard boy, congrats! I don't have the rest of the details since I was...

Yup, sorry. I tend to get them backwards!

Received my degree in show grooming

I know many people try to get the rough grooming (a #1 or #2 comb) prior to the show and then work mainly on getting the tips done at the show with a #3 or #4 comb. Rough grooming from the time the animal is a kit is a good idea to get the fur shaft straighter with allows dust to get into the...
