My chinchilla is making odd yelping/crying noises. I am scared for the life of him! Do you know what may be happening? He makes a slight sneezing noise and then cries. :(

It is not safe. Not only because it is made out of plastic but because it is 12". At the least the circumference should be 14" and 15" is much preferred. The pole in the center will bend the chinchilla's back as well as the small space. I suggest buying a ChinSpin, Flying Saucer, or a Silver Surfer.

Just get the FN 141. It's only one level and that is what I am getting. It's perfect and you can add on if you ever decide to get another or the chin needs a bit more room. (: It's fairly cheap for a very quality cage.

You could adopt a new chin. Make sure it is of the same gender and is more laid back and calm. Put him in quarantine for a while and VERY slowly introduce them. I suggest starting out by putting their cages about 1-2 feet away and every week inch them closer.:)

I have a huge magnolia in our yard. It's old but not that old. I'd say more or less around 10 years old. It hasn't been sprayed with pesticide, ever. What parts of a magnolia tree are safe to a chinchilla? Does it have to be prepared properly? My chinchilla right now doesn't have any chews...

I want to have some to spare just in case something goes wrong. Of course we'll be heading to the vet though, but it will be nice to have some. How long would the Critical Care and the Blu Kote last (unused). How would you store them? Thank you for your help! (:

Okay, well I am getting a FN soon (Christmas) and we are getting a baseboard thing to surround it. How would you apply fleece to the levels with it? How would you do it without it? Thanks a ton!
