    Aventura Cage?

Hi all, I have two 4 year old male chinchillas I've owned since babies, and I simply want to upgrade their cage soon. I live in the UK so FNs and the like aren't really around here and I'm not willing to spend hundreds on shipping. I've found this Aventura cage which seems quite spacey and is...

    Is He Tired Or?

Today I have let my chins out for playtime, since it is late I only let them out for many 15-20 minutes then put them back in the cage. 10 minutes later, we noticed that one of them is not really moving and just laying there. We went to him and started stroking him, which he did not really react...

    Chinchilla Kisses.

Chili is my friendlier chin (let's everyone pick him up, pet him, etc) but he does not groom and runs away from kisses. Rocket doesn't let many people near him but he will groom me and gives kisses, I feel special <3

    Which Cage?

Hello, I've posted when I was first getting my two chins about cages, and I think I said I might upgrade it later on. I am looking to get a larger cage at some point this year, it depends on money and things, we could be ordering anywhere from in a few days to a few months time, so I am...

How long did it take you to tame your chins?

I have owned my chinchillas since September, one was 10 weeks and the other was about 12 weeks when we got them. Chili, the younger one, was always eager and tame from the day we got him, so it didn't take long at all (probably like a few days) to get him to trust me. Rocket on the other hand...

What are your chin's crazy nicknames

My boy Rocket gets called pretty much every apart from his actual name, we call him Rockie, Rock, Rocks, Roxie, Snowflakes, Snowy... We sometimes call Chili Chilsies but I don't remember any other nickname for him.

    What Kind of White?

I have had my boys for about 3 weeks now, and I'm not sure what kind of white Rocket is. I had been referring him to a mosaic, but I'm not sure if he is. What do you think?

Plastic, Crossbar or Too Small Wheel?

I think I rather keep without a wheel as I can't pay shipping and my parents won't either and I don't have enough money to invest in an expensive wheel, and it will probably keep that way for the next few years so there isn't much point. I really do get worried they will get bored without a...

Plastic, Crossbar or Too Small Wheel?

It's not really about if they ship internationally or not its just the fact that my parents wouldn't get it it's how they are, and the saucer is waaay too expensive my cage cost around that price, not paying more than £20 because its just not worth it paying more. I've looked at dog bowls that I...

Plastic, Crossbar or Too Small Wheel?

You see it has to be in the UK or we can't get it, there aren't any of those wheels here and the wheel I ordered is the only one that is metal on ebay, I was just generally asking for an opinion on which one would you choose out of the three :)

Plastic, Crossbar or Too Small Wheel?

Hey, Here in England its a bit hard to get a metal wheel that's a good size, and I think its the same with some othef countries. So I'm wondering, if you really had to get an exercise wheel for your chinchilla(s), would you choose a plastic, crossbar or a wheel that's too small (10 inch+)? I...
