I listened to the sound yours was making because mine is making the same noise, I never heard this noise before i started giving him these treats,the same ones you are, but i dont understand why they say they for Chinchilla's if they arent good for them..

So last night i heard a weird squeaking/choking sound. (It doesnt sound like thet bard they do) I got up to make sure he was okay and he was and I didnt hear the noise again that night. While he was out running around the next day i heard him doing it again, when I checked on him he got scared...

Thank you, he seems to like his new home. (: I open his cage to let around on his own and occasionally he will climb on top of me. But whenever i move he darts. Will he eventually get used to me the more i do this? when i open his cage to pet him he tries to get out and run.
